Double Decker Fudge

4 1/2 cup sugar

1- 7 oz jar marshmallow creme

2-6 oz cans evaporated milk

1/2 cup butter or oleo

dash of salt

1-6 oz package choc. chips

1-6 0z pkg butterscotch pieces

In 3-quart saucepan combine sugar, marshmallow creme, milk , butter & salt. Cook and stir over med. heat till mixture boils. Boil gently stirring often, for 5 minutes. Divide mixture in half. To one half add choc. pieces & stir til melted. Pour in 13X9 pan. To remaining half add butterscotch pieces beating till smooth. If needed beat butterscotch pieces with beater. Pour over choc. & cool. Cut in pieces.
