Noodle Raisin Bars

3/4 cup butter or oleo

1 cup brown sugar packed

1 1/2 sifted flour

1/2 tsp salt

2 cup chow main noodles crushed


1/2 cup raisins

3/4 cup water

1/2 cup sugar

Mix butter, brown sugar, flour, & salt to form crumb mixture. Add  1 3/4 cup noodles and pat half of mixture into greased 9×13 pan. Boil raisins, water and sugar until thick. Cool and cover crumb mixture. Cover raisin filling with rest of crumb mixture. Put in remaining noodles on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
