This was one of and still is my favorite recipe growing up.
Its best severed with fresh bread.
2 to 3 15 ounce cans of butter beans
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup diced carrots
1/2 cup celery chopped fine
3 to 4 pieces of ham hocks
Mix all ingredients together. Turn into baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour.
