Gumdrop Bars

2 eggs

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup flour

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp soda

1/2 cup chopped nuts

1 cup cut gumdrops (no black ones)

Beat eggs until foamy, gradually beat in sugar. Stir in next 4 ingredients. Blend in nuts and 1/2 cup of gumdrops. Spread in 9″ pan and sprinkle remaining ingredients on top. Bake for 30-35 minutes at 350 degrees or until top has a dull crust. Leave in pan. While warm frost with vanilla glaze;

1 cup confectioners sugar

1 1/2 tbsp milk

1/2 tsp vanilla

Stir until smooth
