Marshmallow Crumble

For cookie base:

1 1/4 cups flour

1/3 cup sugar

3/4 cup butter

For Topping:

24 marshmallows

1 cup each raisins, halved dates, pecans or walnuts and candied cherries

Combine flour, sugar and 1/2 cup of the butter; mix until crumbly. Place in 13×9 inch pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Stir to break up into large pieces.

Melt marshmallows with 1/4 cup butter in saucepan over low heat. Stir to blend. Meanwhile combine fruit and nuts with crumb mixture. Pour melted marshmallows over mixture. Toss to combine. Press into 13x 9 inch pan. Refrigerate until firm. Cut into squares.
