Arboretum Tea Room Mandarin Orange Cake

For Cake;

2 cups flour

2 eggs

2 tsp soda

2 cups sugar

2 tsp vanilla

1 tsp salt

2 cups drained mandarin oranges

For frosting;

1 1/2 cups brown sugar

6 tbsp butter

6 tbsp milk

For cake, combine all ingredients in mixer bowl and beat with mixer until well blended. Pour into greased 9″x13″ pan. Bake at 350 degrees 35 minutes.

For frosting, combine in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Boil 3 minutes. Poke holes in the hot cake and pour hot frosting over it slowly.
